Binance Launches Scroll (SCR) for Improved Ethereum Scalability
Binance, the popular cryptocurrency Exchange, recently unveiled Scroll (SCR) as its 60th project on Launchpool. Scheduled to kick off pre-Market trading on October 11, 2024, Scroll is a layer-2 scaling solution that leverages Ethereum’s zKEVM Technology to tackle scalability challenges. By utilizing zero-knowledge proofs to bundle transactions off-Chain, Scroll aims to reduce costs and processing times significantly.

Unique Features of Scroll
One of the key highlights of Scroll is its hierarchical zero-knowledge proof system, along with the ability to integrate seamlessly with other layer-2 networks. Binance Launchpool Details
The farming period for SCR tokens on Binance commences on October 9, 2024, at 00:00 UTC and wraps up on October 10, 2024, at 23:59 UTC. Participants can lock their BNB and FDUSD in dedicated pools to earn SCR tokens. With a total Token supply of 1 billion SCR, 55 million SCR (5.5% of the total supply) are earmarked as Launchpool Rewards. Users have the opportunity to earn up to 97,395 SCR from the BNB pool and 17,187 SCR from the FDUSD pool.
Pre-Market Trading
Following the farming period, SCR tokens will be listed on Binance Pre-Market on October 11, 2024, at 10:00 UTC. The SCR/USDT trading pair will be available for users, enabling them to trade SCR against Tether. This pre-market trading phase will conclude at least four hours before the official spot listing, ensuring a smooth transition for traders. It is essential to note that this service may not be accessible in all regions.
